Mr Edward Che, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shenzhen) Co Ltd, outlined this year's strategy: “China's retail sector is undergoing structural transformation amid rapidly evolving consumer demand. As the premier business platform in lifestyle products, we empower players to stay competitive through market insights and commercial solutions. By developing cross-sector channels and introducing creative product concepts, we are working with brands, influencers, and partners to build agile business models that respond to shifting supply-demand dynamics.”
Enhanced product zones and activities
Around 200 international lifestyle brands from more than 14 countries and regions including Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland will highlight their on-trend items on the show floor. Alongside this, the Affordable & Practical Lifestyle Goods area highlights cost-effective, high-value products designed to enhance everyday happiness and elevate quality of life with thoughtful innovation.
From showcase to shop: fairgoers to explore lifestyle trends in retail spaces
This year, the exhibition will partner with the Commerce Commission of Jing’an District to organise the Jing’an Lifestyle Festival. This initiative is set to extend the lifestyle industry business concept, from the fair to the popular lifestyle boutiques, cafés, and bars across Jing’an’s commercial district. A tailored walking route and exclusive consumer offers will seamlessly connect the exhibition venue with neighbourhood hotspots, creating an immersive experience that combines the best of the exhibition and the city’s district. This approach puts lifestyle concepts into practical action and builds closer ties between brands and local retail entities, enabling access to a broader consumer segment.
Earlier in March, a carefully selected group of Interior Lifestyle China exhibitors showcased their products at the Showroom Shanghai fashion boutique fair, earning strong praise from visitors. Following this success, Showroom Shanghai plans to introduce premier fashion accessory brands at the upcoming lifestyle fair, offering both inspiration and enriched sourcing opportunities to professional buyers and lifestyle enthusiasts.
