Interior Lifestyle China 2026 opens with renewed energy, elevating lifestyle aesthetics and trade

5 Oct 2026

Shanghai, 5 October 2026. Under the theme ‘Get Together!’, Interior Lifestyle China 2026 will take place from 8 – 10 October at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, convening global brands, trade buyers and influencers to explore commercial opportunities, emerging trends and creative energy. Now in its 16th edition, the fair continues to gain momentum, with a steady rise in exhibiting brand numbers. Reflecting the growth of emotionally driven and self-rewarding consumption in China, this edition has expanded its product mix to feature IP trendy toys and fashion accessories, while curated zones will broaden sourcing options for visitors. Backed by a deeper rednote partnership and an upgraded buyer experience, the fair is set to provide a digitally empowered, efficient platform for brands seeking to enter new markets and expand channel reach, thus driving industry progress.

Interior Lifestyle China 2026 will unite over 300 quality brands from 29 countries and regions. Organised around three core categories, ‘Home’, ‘Gifting’ and ‘Travel’, the fair will present a diverse product portfolio spanning home décor, kitchen and tableware, gifts, fragrances, and outdoor living essentials, reflecting global cutting-edge design and aesthetic directions. The expanded product range – now including IP trendy toys and fashion accessories – responds to the growing influence of younger, experience-oriented consumer segments in China that favour compact products. This extensive line-up will offer visitors fresh inspiration while helping retailers and agents refine their product offerings, reach new demographics, and unlock previously unexplored growth opportunities.

A host of emerging and established brands will make their debuts, including wool décor and toy manufacturer AUSKIN (Australia), original IP collectible brand BEARHANS (China), kitchen and tableware label BILL.F (UK), cultural and creative gift brand Color-Post (Hong Kong), IP and cultural merchandise label COSRADIO (China), fragrance and gift brand BareJoy (China), bakeware specialist Lékué (Spain), toy and gift brand Moulin Roty (France), and global lifestyle boutique Windmur (China). Notable returning brands include Aesthetic Goods (China) and Alessia Firenze (Italy), which were featured in the ILC × rednote fantastic goods zone as well as the Showroom Shanghai’s special zone last year. Both have now moved to the main exhibition area for this edition, recognising the fair’s value and influence.

Curated zones to bridge global aesthetics with quality finds
The Ambiente Trends 26+ Special Showcase will bring together nearly 50 brands to showcase over 100 new products. Presented once again by Ambiente, the leading international trade fair for consumer goods, the zone will offer sourcing ideas and creative inspiration for professionals in retail, design, hospitality, and custom furnishing. Based on the narrative of ‘Dreams, Facts, Stories’, the zone will explore three distinctive design elements – ‘brave’, ‘light’, and ‘solid’ – in response to how the future of lifestyle and spatial design is envisioned. Through the interplay of colour, form, and material, the showcase will bring new ideas to an evolving design landscape.

Furthermore, returning by popular demand, the Everyday Lifestyle Goods area will gather nearly 50 quality manufacturers across kitchenware, home décor, glass and ceramics, and lifestyle accessories. An array of contemporary designs at accessible price points will be on display, featuring quality pieces that bring delight and refinement to daily life.

Creating value with breadth and depth
Interior Lifestyle China is reinforcing its partnership with rednote to help e-commerce home and furniture brands turn content-driven e-commerce into a sustainable growth engine. Through this strategic collaboration, this edition will support brands in strengthening their online marketing capabilities across platform operations, product promotion, influencer engagement, and cross-channel visibility. From content seeding and brand exposure to sales conversion, the fair is developing an integrated growth strategy that will help lifestyle brands build lasting impact beyond a single trade fair appearance.

As part of its year-round support, the fair has launched a training programme with rednote ahead of its upcoming edition, equipping e-commerce home and furniture brands with insights into market trends and practical guidance on operating on the platform. During the fair, two closed-door sessions will be held for store owners and online trade buyers respectively, exploring topics such as platform operations, traffic acquisition, community conversion, and trend analysis. By addressing the challenges faced by sellers, the sessions will help participants enhance their online marketing capabilities.

The highly anticipated rednote fantastic goods zone will return as well, featuring over 30 premium lifestyle brands spanning diverse categories, each selected for its distinctive design and contemporary aesthetic. The curated lineup is intended to meet the sourcing needs of rednote influencers and channel buyers alike, driving synergy between content seeding and business matching.

To further extend the fair’s reach, a dedicated buyer group comprising influencers from the home, fashion, and lifestyle sectors will tour the show and livestream their picks in real time. By connecting brands with high-quality content creators, this initiative will provide access to valuable resources in livestream e-commerce and content marketing. rednote will also run dedicated hashtag campaigns throughout the show, encouraging influencers to generate content around the fair and its product highlights. Through this integrated and results-driven approach, the campaign will boost fair and brand visibility while engaging young consumers.

Stepping up buyer experience and connections
Beyond content marketing and brand strategy support, this edition will place a stronger focus on visitor experience and business matching. A specially designed two-day buyer programme will include guided onsite tours, training on emerging sales channels, and visits to benchmark retail stores in Shanghai. The programme is intended to help buyers discover promising brands, gain a deeper understanding of the local retail ecosystem, and make more informed sourcing decisions.

With comfort and efficiency in mind, the 2026 edition will offer upgraded amenities across the show floor, including the ILC Café by IMOD DOMI, ILC Salon, an influencer lounge, and a livestreaming studio. These multifunctional spaces will provide relaxed settings for brands, buyers, and influencers to connect, exchange ideas, negotiate business, and create and stream content. Through its refined offering, the fair aims to bring together lifestyle industry resources, enhance connections and deliver greater value for exhibitors and visitors.
