Mr Edward Che, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shenzhen) Co Ltd, expressed his enthusiasm, stating: “This year’s show, themed 'Lifestyle Alive', not only highlights exquisite products for home, travel, and gifting, but also marks a significant step in strengthening Interior Lifestyle China’s influence. To amplify its impact and expand its reach, we are diversifying engagement opportunities and helping brands reach key markets more effectively. During the March trade fairs, Notes Shanghai and Showroom Shanghai, Interior Lifestyle China supported its exhibitors in connecting with buyers from key retail channels in the fashion and perfumery industries, allowing them to establish a presence in the wider lifestyle markets. These initiatives provide valuable exposure and open doors to meaningful industry collaborations.
“I look forward to witnessing how years of dedication have transformed the fair from a traditional exhibition into a robust platform for high-quality marketing services, which is essential in today’s landscape,” added Mr Che.
Accelerating additional cross-sector opportunities through collaborative events
Following the success of last year’s collaboration at the Golden Osmanthus Awards (GOA), Notes Shanghai recently welcomed a community of perfume designers and enthusiasts to its show from 27 – 30 March 2025. The showcase featured participating brands from Interior Lifestyle China, including the French wine-scented candle brand Maison Tchin Tchin and the Danish home décor brand Ferm Living, among others.
In addition, Showroom Shanghai offered exhibitors a unique opportunity to engage with China’s high-end fashion retail market at its boutique trade fair from 26 – 29 March 2025. Interior Lifestyle China exhibitors showcased their products in a dedicated zone, connecting lifestyle industry leaders with the fashion sector. These included renowned brands such as porcelain manufacturers Maison Pichon Uzès from France and Vista Alegre from Portugal, as well as Swedish wool textiles producer Klippan. Bringing over 5,000 professional buyers from retailers, department stores, and dealers across China, this partnership facilitated connections with influential fashion buyers and opened doors to new business opportunities in premium retail channels.
Exhibitors from both trade fairs, in turn, will showcase their offerings at Interior Lifestyle China 2025, providing networking opportunities with key stakeholders in the lifestyle industry. With the fair’s ability to attract diverse online and offline retail channels, brands will gain access to a broader range of buyers from various industries as well as fashion and lifestyle bloggers, helping to develop domestic connections.
Ongoing promotions to expand into new vertical channels
Moreover, Interior Lifestyle China is committed to hosting dynamic themed pop-up shops in the vibrant city of Chengdu to enable exhibitors to engage with consumers, core department stores, homeware stores, as well as distributors and agents. These initiatives not only provide valuable exposure but also pave the way for meaningful industry collaborations.
Throughout the year, the organisers will actively promote Interior Lifestyle China at renowned events, such as the leading and most international consumer goods trade fair Ambiente in Frankfurt, and Interior Lifestyle Tokyo. By leveraging its global lifestyle fairs network, the show’s international visibility is elevated among global brands and buyers. This strategy aims to strengthen its position as a key sourcing and networking platform for the Chinese consumer goods market, drawing a wider and more diverse audience.
With its expanded marketing initiatives and cross-industry collaborations, the show will offer additional opportunities for industry players to strengthen their connections, foster learning, and drive business growth across the broader design and lifestyle landscape.
Empowering brands with RedNote cooperation
This year, more RedNote bloggers will participate in live-stream selling at Interior Lifestyle China, showcasing exhibitor products to enhance online publicity and visibility for both the exhibition and the brands.
Complementing event-day engagements, RedNote will also offer year-round training courses covering product selection, brand building, and marketing campaigns. These courses will help exhibitors navigate the social media platform and thrive within its online ecosystem. Given its strong appeal among China’s younger consumers, who view influencer-driven content as more authentic and trustworthy[1], this collaboration presents an invaluable opportunity for brands looking to establish a stronger foothold in the market.
